Easter Time with Hotel Chocolat

Well Eastertide is upon and this merry springtime festival is a very good excuse to eat copious amounts of chocolate in the form of fun time Easter eggs.

I’ve been so bloody busy over the last nine months that everything else in my life has taken a back seat.

Cay Tre in Soho

For some reason I thought I had already reviews the Soho branch of Cay Tre, but it seems not, which is a bit odd, as I’ve eaten there on several occasions.

I am a big fan of short menus, but Dirty Burger’s has to be the shortest I’ve ever seen in London.

With one item on the menu, cheeseburger and 2 sides, it could be the shortest menu ever. Gonna be hard to beat.

Hot Pho @ Cay Tre

I’m a big lover of the Cay Tre Vietnamese Kitchens, as they style themselves. Viet Grill and Cay Tre in Soho have given some of the best Pho and Bun Cha I’ve tasted in London.

Song Que - A Revisit

A quick spot of lunch today at Song Que was welcome after a pretty crap few days at work.

I was only in the area because the Algerian Coffee Shop in Soho have been out of Vietnamese Coffee for a good few weeks now and are not expecting another shipment for a couple more weeks.

Tonkotsu Heaven @ Ippudo in New York

Ippudo was definitely one of the highlights of our weeklong stay in New York last March, yes it’s taken me a long while to finally come to this point.

Sandwich Heaven at Katz

It’s been nearly a year since we were in New York and I still haven’t written about Ippudo or Katz. Disgraceful.

Shame on me as these were the two places we really wanted to eat at, and I’m glad we did as they lived up to expectations.
